''The little Worry Wart, that's what we call our son. He's up all night sometimes, thinking. Other days he's crabby or he has a stomachache. I can tell something is wrong.'' - Columbus Area Mother. If your son or daughter has an Anxiety Disorder, it means that they worry excessively about everyday kinds of things. We all worry from time to time, that's part of human nature. But when intense worrying lasts for six months or more, it may be a sign of anxiety disorder. Little kids can't always tell us when they are upset about something. Some clues that your child may be suffering from too much anxiety are: sweating, stomachaches, dizziness, inability to fall asleep or stay asleep, muscle pains or irritability.
